General Shipping Information
At Harvest and Hem, we carefully package and prepare each furniture piece to ensure it arrives safely to your home. Because many of our items are vintage, handmade, or one-of-a-kind, we work with experienced furniture couriers and trusted delivery partners throughout the United States.
Local pick up is available by appointment only please select "local pick up" at check out and contact us via email shopharvestandhem@gmail.com to schedule a pick up time
Furniture deliveries include blanket wrapping and in-home delivery to the main floor whenever accessible.
Please note that customers are responsible for arranging any additional moving assistance if the item requires stair carries, elevator reservations, or moving existing furniture inside the home.
Furniture Shipping Rates
Shipping costs are estimated based on item size, weight, destination, and delivery route from Texas.
Southern & Central States
Estimated delivery: $250–$500 for the first furniture item.
Additional pieces on the same order typically range from $150–$300 each.
Includes deliveries to:
Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, and nearby surrounding states.
East Coast & Midwest
Estimated delivery: $350–$650 for the first furniture item.
Additional pieces typically range from $175–$350 each.
Includes deliveries to:
Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and surrounding areas.
Western States
Estimated delivery: $350–$650 for the first furniture item.
Additional pieces typically range from $175-350 each.
Includes deliveries to:
California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
Oversized & Specialty Pieces
Extra-large furniture, oversized antiques, marble pieces, or unusually heavy items may require custom delivery quotes and additional handling fees.
Shipping totals are calculated at checkout whenever possible. In some cases, we may contact you after purchase if a specialty delivery quote is needed.
Delivery Timeframes
Furniture deliveries typically arrive within 3–8 weeks depending on your location and courier scheduling.
Because our deliveries are coordinated by region to provide safe and affordable transport, delivery times may occasionally extend beyond the estimated timeframe.
Customers located farther from Texas, especially on the West Coast, may experience longer delivery windows.
We truly appreciate your patience while we safely transport your pieces.
Small Parcel Shipping
Smaller home décor items, accessories, and lightweight pieces ship through standard carriers such as UPS or FedEx.
Shipping rates are automatically calculated at checkout based on package size, weight, and destination.
Most small parcel orders ship within 3–7 business days.
Delivery Process
Once your order is ready for shipment, you will receive an email confirmation with tracking or courier information.
For furniture deliveries, your courier will contact you directly to schedule a delivery appointment.
Because delivery routes are planned around multiple customers in the same region, exact delivery times may vary slightly.
White Glove Furniture Delivery
Most furniture orders include:
- Professional blanket wrapping
- Careful transport and handling
- In-home placement on the main floor
- Scheduled delivery coordination
Please ensure walkways and entry spaces are clear prior to delivery day.
Additional Delivery Fees
Customers are responsible for any special access fees including:
- Ferry transport
- Remote/rural delivery surcharges
- Toll fees
- Storage fees caused by missed appointments
- Building elevator reservations or required certificates
Antique Furniture Notice
Due to the nature of antique furniture, minor changes may occur as pieces adjust to new environments.
Temperature and humidity changes can occasionally affect wood movement, drawers, or doors. Small adjustments are normal and can often be improved with furniture wax or routine care.
